Because Every Day is Beautiful

Often times when we think about the past, we tend to look at the pain. We see the wrongs that happened to us, and our feelings often get consumed by past pain. Even we’ve had quite a great past, we tend to look at certain things that we don’t like very much and we play those scenes over and over again in our minds. We also use the past to build the future. It’s like the saying “if I don’t know where I come from, then I won’t know where I’m going”.

I’ve learned that the past is something that is dead. We have a choice to bring it back to life through how we think, or to leave it where it is. We also have a choice to take the good and focus on all the good we’ve had as opposed to the negative circumstances. Our thoughts make up…
