My thoughts exactly!
Long distance runners are well equipped to handle some of the pressure they undergo during races. The go through extensive training to get into perfect shape, but the most important thing is that they prepare themselves mentally for the race. They know that in order to endure the race, they need to be mentally fit. This takes hours of focused mental application; the end result being high endurance.
Just like long distance runners, we also have to be prepared mentally for some of the challenges that were are confronted with. When we are starting something new, when we’re working on a new project, starting a new job, getting into a marriage, or making changes in our lives, we have to be ready, and that means we have to spend time preparing ourselves mentally. How are you preparing yourself today?
