Because Every Day is Beautiful

As we get older and start to gain understanding, not only of ourselves, but of life and God, we start to value and appreciate maturity, and that maturity is knowing that we don’t always have control. I often think of the Serenity prayer, which says Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”  That to me is real maturity. When we start to accept that things don’t always happen when we want them to happen, but having a positive and affirmative outlook and attitude at all times.
One of the problems I believe we have is that we want everything to work out TODAY. We want the answers all in one day without going through a journey and without any lessons. The thing is, how do we appreciate joy if…
